Local Artists Featured at Pleasant Street Tea Co.

You’re invited! Join us to view the artwork of local painters and printmakers Ben MacAdam, Donna Therrien, and Rocky Delforge at Pleasant Street Tea Co. on Friday May 11th from 6-8 pm! The tea shop is located at 7 Pleasant Street, Gloucester, MA. and will cater food and drinks for the opening. The show will be up until the end of June.  Local musician Brad Byrd will also play a few songs also during the opening.

Brad Byrd to Appear on 92.5

Singer-songwriter Brad Byrd will be featured at 10 pm on Boston's 92.5 The River on Wednesday, September 1st during their Homegrown showcase. Rockport Festivals is pretty excited about this because, not only is Brad a great musician, he is our musician, hailing from Rockport, Mass.

Check him out tomorrow night online or at 92.5 on your radio and be sure to come down to Rockport on Saturday, October 16th, during HarvestFest to hear Brad Byrd in person!

A Hint of What's To Come...


Our Motif No. 1 Day Schedule of Events will be posted soon. But for now, here's a glimpse into what will be going on in Rockport on May 22nd:

-> Rockport Music is presenting a slate of free community concerts at the beautiful new Shalin Liu Performance Center. Click here to learn more.

-> The one-and-only Brad Byrd will be performing as part of Motif No. 1 Day and at the Old Sloop Coffeehouse in Rockport on the evening of May 22nd.

-> Historian and photographer Les Bartlett will be presenting "Motif No. 1: Why it Matters" - a talk combined with historic photographs of Rockport and its famous fishing shack. Check out his new Motif No. 1 website here.
