Art Now Rockport event on September 17th!

A lively intimate evening showcasing the work of five contemporary Rockport artists (Renata Fryshara, Kurt Ankeny, Ben Macadam, Nina Samoiloff, and Karen Tusinski) along with a presentation from New York based Art Advisor Lydia Barry Kutko, who will connect the current contemporary art scene in Rockport with its art colony past, as well as putting what is happening in Rockport in the context of what is taking place in the broader art world. This event is designed to be upbeat, informative, with fun food & drink and interesting people in a beautiful setting. Whew! Don't miss it.
September 17th from 7 to 9pm at the former Rockport Lodge. Tickets are $28 and include the artist's showcase, Lydia Barry Kutko's presentation and light food and drink. A percentage of proceeds benefit Rockport Festivals, so by supporting emerging art the purchase of a ticket also supports community programming.
The event showcases other Rockport talents as well: Art Now Rockport is put together by Sarah Kelly of The Roving Home with food provided by Brett Roeske of Lula's Pantry and a venue (the historic former Rockport Lodge) provided by Abby Cahill O'Brien of 5th Joy.
