Announcing the Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest Winners!
More festival posts and pictures to follow, but first? The 2nd Annual Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest (SCAC) winners. We offered four divisions: Family, Adult, Teen & Youth, with the winners receiving a handscreened 2011 Motif No. 1 Day T-shirt designed by Rockporter Aiden Symes and gift certificates to Molly's Ice Cream (just in time for summer - yum).
Participants created art up and down Main Street and it was fantastic to see all the different interpretations of Motif No. 1. Big thanks to our 2011 SCAC Judges: Bob Visnick, Sarah Wilkinson & Peter Russell and our Resident Chalk Artist: Tina LaMond. And of course, a big thank you to ALL of our participants: your creativity is inspiring, and we'll see you back on the sidewalk with chalk in hand in 2012!
SCAC 2011 Winners
Adult: Ed Hansen
Family: Sauder family
