The Rockport Farmers Market begins on Saturday, June 21st and runs from 9am to 1pm. The Market will offer fresh, local food each week this summer with its roster of vendors providing a variety of locally-grown and produced items. Fresh produce, eggs, small-batch salsa, hummus, smoked fish, maple syrup, fresh bread and other baked goods highlight a selection of available items at each week’s market.
The Rockport Farmers Market is located in Harvey Park in Rockport, Massachusetts, at the corner of Broadway and Mt. Pleasant Street. On June 21st two other events will be taking place alongside the Farmers Market. The Scandinavian Mid-Summer Fest will be in Harvey Park celebrating Rockport’s Scandinavian heritage with folksingers, a maypole and traditional foods such as Nisu bread, pickled herring and strawberries and cream. The Rockport Garden Club will also be on hand selling tickets to their annual Garden Tour, the final day of which is June 21st. This year’s tour features local gardens in the downtown area. The tour is walkable and a great opportunity to discover Rockport’s hidden garden treasures right downtown.
