At This Week's Farmers' Market: the July 13th Edition

Look for the usual delicious focaccia, pesto, pickles, tomato marmalade, grass fed beef, beautiful produce and much, much more. We're happy that Wally's Blackburn Bistro will join us again, in case you missed owner Paul Franklin's homemade hummus, guacamole and salsa last week. Our newest vendor is Batter Up Bakery, creator of small batch cookies that are beautiful to look at and even better to eat.

July 6th (TOMORROW!) at the Farmers' Market!

We're looking forward to another great summer market tomorrow! Look for the vendors listed below, and plan to pick up everything from fresh bread to fresh produce to maple syrup.

We're happy to welcome Wally's Blackburn Bistro to the roster this week. Wally's offers freshly made salsa and guacamole, packaged and ready to take home, as well as a great selection of salads and more.

Marvin Roberts, PhD, with the head of a rhubarb plant

Gardener and botanist Marvin Roberts will be back to answer your questions and lead a discussion at the market's Garden Talk, set for 11 a.m. The last two weeks Marvin's rhubarb has sold out in minutes, and rumor has it that there is a possibility that he is bringing berries, assuming the stars align, to tomorrow's market.
See you there!

TOMORROW! The First Summer Farmers' Market

Our summer Rockport Farmers' Market will be small but mighty. Just like Rockport itself! We will have a little of everything, from honey to grass-fed beef from Seaview Farm (right in Rockport!) to smoked seafood from Sasquatch Seafood to beautiful produce from First Light Farms to award-winning pesto and handmade pasta from Paolo Laboa of Prides Osteria. To give you a visual teaser of what's to come at our Farmers' Market, check out this video showing Paolo Laboa making his pesto (from his days at Farina in San Francisco). Our mouths water every time we view it!
