The Red Shed Film Festival Results are In!

Thank you so much for a great inaugural Red Shed Film Festival! We had a fantastic time dining al fresco on incredible food from Wally's Blackburn Bistro, enjoying Twin Lights soda in downtown Rockport, just like Rockporters did a generation ago. Festival-goers gathered under the tent to view selected short films from Cape Ann filmmakers. The films ran the spectrum, from comedy to documentary. The audience voted for their favorite film following the screening. The votes have been counted and the Peoples' Choice Awards go to:

1st: A Rocky Neck Legacy by Henry Ferrini
followed closely by
2nd: "Battle for the Fate of the Dawn at the Edge of the Universe in Space" by Matthew Morris
and a tie for
3rd:
"The Good Harbor Seal" by Kim Smith
"The Town of Rockport" by Lauren Yamin
A huge thank you to the filmmakers for sharing their work with us, to Wally's Bistro, Twin Lights soda, to Phil Hopkins of The Film Detective, to Darren Mason and Kylie Alexander for working on the the graphics and to Henry Cooper and Michael Kelly of Granite Vision Video Production for their work in making the Red Shed Film Festival a reality.
